Reception Antwerp Police

All Antwerp police offices and the client management service were in for a facelift. A common look and feel of the offices improves their recognisability and accessibility.

The design of the new police reception areas combines the feeling of a client focussed shop and the warmth of a pub.
A large shop-window with a billboard at the side of the street leads to a first public zone with a waiting area and a shop. The actual reception area is behind this zone. Visitors here will be helped with first line information. Magnetic information columns and consulting spots are part of this service. Finally there is the so called "concentration" zone that offers the privacy for a confidential interview with an officer.
The interiors have wooden panelling and floors. The entire area is equipped with round pieces of furniture (reception desk, open sitting corners, information columns, ...).
