PSLab among finalists Antwerp monument prize Erfgoedjuweel

We had to keep it silent for a while, but now we can finally let you know the news: the Antwerp PSLab office is chosen among the five finalists of the Erfgoedjuweel, the urban monument prize granted by the city of Antwerp.

The originally Lebanese PSLab is a renowned name in the lighting industry. They chose a historic warehouse as their Antwerp base, which was renovated by B-bis architecten. Today, the earthy colours of the modern studio bathe in subtle dim light, highlighting PSLab's expertise as a lighting designer upon entering the building.

More info? Surf to erfgoedjuweel.be and watch a brand new video where Dirk Engelen of B-bis explains this unique renovation project.

Vote! You can also vote for our project and send it straight to the public prize. Cast your vote here or take a look at the exhibition stand in the Stadsfeestzaal, where the five finalists will be presented until 11/9.

Open Monumentendag

Following our nomination, we will take part in Open Monumentendag on Sunday 10 September and give you the chance to discover this unique renovation project.

The PSLab studio at the Antwerp South will be free to visit between 12 and 5 pm. There will be five moments where Dirk Engelen of B-bis and Kurt Bruggeman of PSLab will explain the history of this former warehouse and how it was transformed into the spherical studio it is today.

More info and registration for the one of the guided visits here.

At the end of September, we will find out who gets to take home the grand prize. Fingers crossed!
