The pentagram, also known as star pentagon, is one of the world’s oldest symbols. Over time it has acquired different connotations related to nature, science, religion or magic. From a mathematical and geometrical point of view, this figure has a number of particular features that make it special. For example, its segments are related to each other according to the golden ratio, which is a proportional rule used in art since ancient times but also present in nature and in the human body.

The equipments that compose the Penta system are related to the geometric shape of the pentagon. The edges of the pentagon, combined with the different heights of the equipment, suggest different configurations of tables, benches and sofas. These configurations propose an adaptation to different types of spaces, such as waiting rooms, libraries, lounge spaces and offices.
