House DP II
Individual housing , Collective housing
Two superimposed flats in an old diamond-cutting factory in Antwerp were connected to form one living unit.
We connected the two units by creating a central void with a spacious spiral staircase.
At the bottom, the children now have their own floor with walled-in terrace. It also allows the parents to work from home. The existing furnishings were seamlessly complemented by new custom-made furniture. In the unit above, the residents now enjoy a colourful wooden interior with a city garden.
