A comprehensive renovation to a secluded bungalow on a hilltop in the Belgian Ardennes transformed it into an exceptional holiday home.
The outer walls were re-insulated and re-cladded in wood, while the rest of the exterior woodwork, natural stone plinths, and terrace with its outdoor fireplace were all renewed. Inside, modern technical systems and new bathrooms were subtly integrated, and everything was carefully but discreetly freshened up to blend with the original atmosphere, preserving the special identity of the bungalow.
