Behind an existing apartment building an old hangar is turned into a family home with a swimming pool.
A part of the house as well as the entrance are located beneath the apartment building. The back of the house borders a large garden in which a swimming pool is placed. The hangar consisted of a construction of concrete beams. Along the back wall of the apartments a very spacious and green patio was created. On the lateral parts of the roof we put a living roof. A small space (3,8 x 4,8 m) becomes a bedroom at half-height through the roof-plane. Bathroom, storage room, dressing room and music room are separated from the living area by a striking and space dividing wall that is made of translucent cupolas.
