Coffee corner Xavier
Hospitality
For Xavier, the interior of a former restaurant was completely taken in hand. The result is a total makeover in the form of a coffee house with a fresh, contemporary look.
Coffee corner Xavier is a place with a history. After WWII, the site became a popular attraction for the inhabitants of Ghent and the surrounding areas. Today, our client breathes new life into the place with Xavier, a 'living room' concept with the modern character of an urban coffee bar.
A unique atmosphere was created for each space. Materials were carefully chosen and are all inspired by a trip to Japan that the owner made. The rooms are separated by a rhythm of wooden columns, which are either left open or filled with glass or wooden panels. The raised stage floor creates tension in the largest room.
The result is a cohesive whole that simultaneously exudes a fresh look and a soothing character.
