Individual housing
An old movie theatre gave way to a new, spacious city home. At the rear of the former cinema complex there is now an intimate city garden with swimming pond.
The adjacent properties differ in orientation and height. The solution to this translated itself into a complex roof with a unique façade. Inside, a bold, exposed concrete wall extends from front to back. It defines the new structure of the house, around which all spaces intertwine.
The daytime area is spread over the ground and first floors. The spaces are connected by a large void. The night zone is also spread over two floors, with the top floor reserved for the children. Their bedrooms were designed with sleeping mezzanines, along with a large shared space and a roof terrace.
