This unit is located in the living quarters of the former Zwarte Arend farmstead. The former hayloft and part of the cowshed are also part of this dwelling. The original structure of the various parts remains legible, but was renewed and reinforced where necessary. The wooden box-in-box system provides the house with the necessary thermal comfort. At the rear, we added one large window opening to improve the amount of daylight entering and the view from the house. We used solid materials such as wood, concrete, terrazzo and steel.
