An existing low-rise villa was extended with a rectangular two storey volume.
The outer glass walls alternate with closed walls in such a way that views to all wind directions are guaranteed. The use of mirror glass makes the building blend in completely with its natural surroundings.
Warm materials that have a feel of their own, such as afrormosia veneer, tropical end-grain wood, copper and cork in a new edition, all refer to the house’s original sixties style.
