Nest
Theatre & exhibitions
A young man takes his entrance exam for a school of acting. The examining board asks him to play a bleeding bull. It seems an impossible task.
Nest describes the inner journey of a young man looking for the bleeding bull within himself.
During this search he returns to his youth and his first big loves. Driven by his desire to find his own identity he tries to break free from his father and the smothering atmosphere of his home, where shoes are sold, where Mercedes cars are being overhauled and where chinchilla’s are bred. It is only when he has finally become the bleeding bull that he can become reconciled with his father.
Nest is a play about camaraderie, comfort, building shelters and huddling together.
