B-bis

B is the sum of four studio divisions called B-architecten, B-bis, B-city and B-juxta. At B-bis architecten, we design smaller-scaled architectural projects, residential interior design, offices and shops, scenographies for exhibitions and performing arts, temporary installations and furniture design.

(Fully installed) We’ve officially expanded, and we’re excited to share the photos with you! At B, we’ve breathed new life into the historic Cinema Lux, creating much-needed space for our growing team in Antwerp. This iconic building now serves as our brand-new workspace, designed to take us into the next decade and beyond.

(Publication) Recently, we extended an existing B-bis project in Brussels, with the transformation of the previously unused attic space into a multifunctional room as one of the interventions. And that’s how it ended up in Knack Weekend. >Read more!<

With ‘Penta’, we designed an adaptable furniture collection based on the geometric shape of a pentagon. The tables, stools and sofas allow customised arrangements in different types of spaces.⁠

(Project completed) B-bis designed the refurbishment of the orangery and collection pavilion of the Middelheim Museum in Antwerp and this is the result. Discover more >here<!

(New on our website) Two superimposed flats in an old diamond-cutting factory in Antwerp were connected to form one living unit.
